God of Creation, meet us before the sun rises
and make the path clear.
Holy God who creates day and night,
hold us in places of safety no matter where
our feet must travel today.
God of mercy and peace, grant us trust enough to let go
of all we hold so tight
so we can embrace what you offer now.
